Eligibility Criteria - of Assam Commando Battalion Recruitment 2023
Nationality: Applicants must possess Indian citizenship and be permanent residents of Assam.
Employment Exchange: Applicants must ensure their registration with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Language: Fluency in Assamese or any other official language of the state is a requirement for applicants.
AGE LIMIT
(i) Constable (AB): The age limit for applicants is 18 to 21 years as of January 1, 2023. Candidates must have been born on or before January 1, 2005, and on or after January 1, 2002.
(ii) Sub Inspector (AB): the candidate must be at least 20 years old and should not exceed 24 years as of 1st January 2023. The candidate's birth date should fall on or before 1st January 2003, and on or after 1st January 1999.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as follows:-
(i) By 3 Years for OBC Candidates.
(ii) By 5 Years for ST Candidates.
(iii) By 5 Years for SC Candidates.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
(i) Constable (AB): Candidates who have passed the HSLC or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Council are eligible for this position.
(ii) Sub Inspector (AB): Candidates who possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Commerce, Science or a similar field from a recognized College/Institution affiliated with a recognized University are eligible for this position.
SALARY
(i) Sub Inspector (AB):The pay scale for this position is Rs. 14,000-60,500/- with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700/-, along with other allowances as per the applicable rules.
(ii) Constable (AB):The pay scale for this role is Rs.14,000-60,500/- with a Grade Pay of Rs.5,600/- and additional allowances as per the rules.
